Setting up forwarding with Google Mail
Note: After completing this process, you may need to double check the settings in your Gmail inbox settings to confirm you have your Supermoon team email selected, forwarding turned on, and that you have selected 'Save Changes' at the bottom of the page.
Overview
If you have a customer support email such as [email protected] or [email protected], you can choose to forward emails from that inbox into your free Supermoon inbox (this is instead of using the Gmail integration available to all Supermoon teams).
Steps
- Navigate to the Supermoon Settings (bottom left of your screen)
- Click ‘Team Settings’
- Copy your ‘Team Email Address’
(it will look like this: [email protected]) - Sign into your Gmail account
- Click the settings icon in the top right
- Click see all settings under quick settings
- In the tabs listed above, navigate to the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab
- Click ‘Add Forwarding Address’
- Paste in the Team Email Address you copied earlier click ‘Proceed’ when Gmail prompts you to confirm the forwarding address
- Go to your Supermoon inbox and locate the email from Google with the confirmation request
- Click the link and confirm that you would like to set up email forwarding
